Thank you for your interest in our story <3 Tabu started to address perceptions of swimwear. Swim can still feel 'taboo' (or tabu ;)) for women sometimes, and that takes away more than we realise.

The sea, rivers, lakes, pools, they aren't just a good time, though it usually is and can be. It's more than that. Water heals, water gives, and water is peace and it's hard to connect with it, when we're too busy worrying about what we're wearing, of all things.

So Tabu stands as a shift in how we enjoy the beach, the water, and ourselves. Your relationship with water is meaningful. Sri Lanka has the perfect setting, but not always the space to enjoy it without hesitation. We're building a swim culture that feels like freedom. You deserve to feel free and confident in it.
